Originally posted by : steve (sschofield@aspfree.com)
here is an article on what to do in internet service manager. yes you need to have dns entry's setup. We use the same ip for xml.aspfree.com and www.aspfree.com. but in dns u need to have both defined. Then when the request comes into the web server, having 2 websites setup and host-headered then it'll resolve it.

http://support.microsoft.com/support/kb/articles/Q190/0/08.ASP?LNG=ENG&SA=ALLKB

Good luck,
steve

------------
Neal at 2/20/2000 8:48:19 AM

Hello, Just wanted to know if there was a way to write a script that would allow for 2 Domains to reside on one web hosting account?

Do you need your host to set up domain alaising first?

And then somehow redirect the user to the appropriate domain?

Help!
Thanks

Maybe a sweet snipet of Code?

Neal

------------
steve at 2/20/2000 6:55:54 PM

here is an article on what to do in internet service manager. yes you need to have dns entry's setup.
