Question Microsoft OLE DB Provider for ODBC Drivers error '80040e21' + more errors

I had a very steable website.. but one of my users go this error..

First of All i'm not a .asp programmer.. i can copy paste and make the problem worse.. but can follow instructions.. Right now i have no money to get a programmer to fix this at $120/h i don't even make that on the site right now..

if anyone can help that would be great. I'm using ACCESS FOR THE DB

    1. When my site loads my users logbook.. they get this error..

    Code:
Microsoft OLE DB Provider for ODBC Drivers error '80040e21'
Multiple-step OLE DB operation generated errors. Check each OLE DB status value, if available. No work was done.

    /main.asp, line 174
    Line 174 is this - FlightDate = RS("Datex")

But i have another of the same error and its tell me line 0 but that is just

I haven't done any work on my site for over 2 years.. it must be with an logbook entry that the user made..

    2. Plus get this error as well

Active Server Pages error 'ASP 0113'
    Script timed out
    /FlightHours/totals_hour_list_page.asp

The maximum amount of time for a script to execute was exceeded. You can change this limit by specifying a new value for the property Server.ScriptTimeout or by changing the value in the IIS administration tools.

It might be that the field type in the database table needs changing to keep it up to date.

(i had a problem a while ago, when all my price were in decimal, the site went down and simply changing the field type to double(8,2) fixed everything)

Did the code work before and now it doesn't?

If the answer is yes, then either there has been and update on the server on in the DB which has causing the error, it could be your connection string needs updating.

If you still cannot find a fix, please post the code for the page and someone might look into it.

Ya the site hasn't changed like in 2-3 years for code.

I might be a simple , in stead of a . i will LOOK for that.. but its a ACCESS DB so i can't change table stuff like SQL..

Again i have no clue what i'm talking about..

And i do have another post about my connection string..

As my HOST i think upgraded there access to 2000 and i think i have AN OLLLLLD db_string.ini file.. i have put the code in there.. will post the link

Hopefully this will get solved by itself once you change your connection string.. if not please bump this thread and we'll look into it further.
