Re-directing domain aliases using ASP?
Originally posted by : Nate (webmaster@pathrat.com)
Hello, I recently had my host create several aliases (eg. weather.pathrat.com, directory.pathrat.com) and he said there is a way to have an ASP script redirect those aliases to specific files and/or directories.

Is there a way this can be done? If so, how?

Thanks,

Nate
Originally posted by : steve (sschofield@aspfree.com)
in the properties of the virtual top level web(weather.pathrat.com) there are 3 options. one is directory on local computer, share on another computer or redirection to an URL. choose the redirection to another URL. and then type in your url. . You would use MMC/internet service manager in the IIS 4.0 option pak to make these changes.

steve

------------
Nate at 2/5/00 5:50:15 PM

Hello, I recently had my host create several aliases (eg. weather.pathrat.com, directory.pathrat.com) and he said there is a way to have an ASP script redirect those aliases to specific files and/or directories.

Is there a way this can be done?
