Algorithms help
Hi! I'm taking a university computer science course and having A LOT of trouble with algorithms. We are only doing the basics I believe but it is way over my head! I am trying to complete an assignment dealing with things like this:
Step #
1. Set the value of me to 3
2. Set the value of mine to 6
3. Set the value of thine to 0
4. Do while me <= mine
5. If me * 2 > 5 Then
6. Set the value of thine to me mine Else
7. Set the value of thine to mine me End if
8. Set the value of me to me + 1
9. Set the value of mine to mine - 1 Loop
10. Print The value of thine is: , the value of thine
I am very confused and have not been able to figure this stuff out! I am also trying to understand problem solving and developing an algorithm for the problem as well as AIPO charts. Is there a forum on the site where I can ask questions about these topics, or another site anyone can recommend, so that I don't have to stress about failing the course! Any help would be greatly appreciated...there's only one week until my final! Thanks!
