Application doesn't like IE

I am just looking for some feedback on a spot problem i have been having for months. I post it here because I dont know where the problem resides exactly.

I have a ASP.Net with an SQL 2K DB backend (running on 2K server). To get right to the point, I have it default to a login page. Nothing special, just a login that checks the DB for basic info. However, When the submit button is pressed in IE, it does absolutely nothing. No progress bar, no timeouts/errors, not even the windows logo spins. Absolutely nothing. However, when i try it on other browsers, it works beautifully. I have a default way of installing servers and it works on some but not others.

Has anyone ever heard of this? This is very wierd. Error logs i have created and within windows show nothing.

you have javascript disabled in the IE browser.
the ASP.NET use javascript, it's built in behavior.
so, enable javascript and it should all work fine.
