I'm still new to this ASP thing and would like to develop a bulletin/message board on my company Intranet site. I'm able to create this in Javascript that posts forms by email, which isn't very practical. What would I need to start setting up ASP on our company Intranet server? Software etc.. e.g. IIS Any responses would be greatly appreciated.. |

If you have an IIS server, you need no other programs to run a intranet / internet site based on ASP.
You could use Microsoft Visual studio or something like that to create ASP Pages. I hope this answers your question. |

You will need a http server. I recommend IIS or apache, the you need the asp package downloaded form microsoft. I advise you to run it with mysql to store the posts so you will need to download that too. Other than that, just pick up a book on ASP!

Oh okay, something similar to ChiliSoft, to allow running ASP pages on a non windows platform.
