PHP is a language
ASP is NOT a language, it's an environment for any language supported by the ActiveX Scripting Interpreter PHP is always evolving ASP was killed off back in 2000, get used to the more powerful ASP.Net which is a proper programming environment and framework, supporting up to 20 languages. PHP is interpreted and can be slow at times ASP.Net is compiled to MSIL and JIT-Compiled to machine code at runtime (ASP.Net 2.0 allows for machine-code compilation at dev-time) PHP is open-source ASP is written by a company that tried to patent the "IsNot" logical operator. Go figure ![]() |
