Basketball

Did I mention I am a huge basketball fan???
I've been playing since I was around 6.
Played all through elementary school, junior high, high school, was offered a scholarship to a small midwestern school, but was injured my junior year and couldn't play anymore.
I play regularly, at the local YMCA or Rec. Center, on the weekends.

I love the game!

So speaking of basketball, the playoffs are going on and here are my picks and comments...feel free to add your own!

Lakers/Rockets - Me says Lakers
Yao Ming just can't handle Shaq's size.
Plus the lakers don't have anyone that can stop Kobe.
Not to mention 4 out of 5 of the Lakers starters are future Hall of Famers.

Timberwolves/Nuggets - Me says Timberwolves
Garnett is too strong (Triple Double last night! 21 points, 22 rebounds, 10 assists)
Sprewell was on fire (31 points)
Carmello Anthony is still too young to be a leader.

Heat/Hornets - Me says Heat
This should be a given, Heat!

Buck/Pistons Me says Pistons, but I like the Bucks
Pistons are heavily favored, but the Bucks stole a win on the road!
Can't forget Kukoc's skill, he played with Jordan after all, during the 90's Bulls dynasty.

Mavs/Kings - Me says Mavs
This is gonna go 7 games!
Mavs are sweet! Novitski, Nash, etc...
If anyone can be the Mavs it will be the Kings

Spurs/Grizzlies - Me says Spurs
You can't stop Duncan, you can only hope to contain him!

Pacers/Celtics - Me says Pacers
Ron Artest should have been suspended for the entire series!
I like the Celtics, because of Paul Pierce...I'm a HUGE KU FAN!!!

Knicks/Nets - Me says Nets
Jason Kidd baby!!! (****ie V. impression!)
