Connecting a psp to my laptop - to connect to the net (simple)

Hello, I wonder if any of you can guide me through a way I could sort this out... or indeed tell me if it's possible!

I would like to connect my Sony PSP to the internet using the wireless features. However I do not have a wireless internet connection. so I was wondering if I could connect my laptop to the internet (via a phoneline [broadband]) and then use the laptop wireless features to create a network with the PSP and connect it to the internet through the laptop?

Please help me, thank you.

Here are a few specs you may wish to know:

Sony PSP - standard console
laptop - Samsung X30
internet - 2mb broadband

Cheers, Kev

I don't believe it's possible. Why would you need to do this if, as you mentioned, you have broadband phone, and the price for a wireless router is about $30 US dollars?

Well its a very long story, but basically, I'm not allowed a wireless router... I know it sounds silly but there it is...

Are you sure this can't be done? Is it not like setting up a network?

How about with some sort of wireless 'stick' in a desktop pc?

Thanks.
