Database applications
I remember hearing about BASE (I think it's an openoffice.org databse program) and that it's comparable to MS Access. Is anyone familiar with the two and able to tell me the differences/similarities?

MS access is better but its been a while since I used either for anything important. used Base about 3 months back for some small accounts stuff and data entry work i doing.
But base does not compare directly to Access. I used it to help me interface with mysql which was where all my data was that i needed to generate reports out off. Although it does have its own db. http://www.openoffice.org/product/base.html Not as intuitive as Access.
