it was discussed before, but anyway..... Notepad for classic ASP, HTML javascript and the like. Visual Studio for C++, .NET and such full-scale programming languages. ![]() |

Dragon Rider, I would suggest you never use DreamVeawer for html and asp again, its ok if you only use the code view, but don't use DV to create your database functions, it creates a bunch of unecessary code

DreamWeaver MX2004 fanboy here.
I use it for everything: X/HTML, CSS, JS, PHP, ASP/VBScript I only use Code View though, and I write all my own scripts/ functions. Design view can be handy though, for creating/editing image maps, and debugging peoples rediculous tables nested within tables and so on...

well, dreamweaver is like loose beast... it usually ruins everything unless you know how to control and restrain it. I just see here in the forums too much newbies coming with weird codes (obviously auto-generated) and crying for help...

I like the dreamweaver because you don't have to write HTML... In addition, it colours the words and that's helpful...
But the most important of all is that the hand on mouseover above buttons in dreamweaver is left in contrary to all other programs where that hand is the right one... I'm left-handed and I can't stand that "right-handed" racism ![]() |
