I say keep them, at least some of them. I personally don't use them yet, but if members are having fun using them, why ruin their fun? if you don't want, you don't have to use them. if you're offended by smilies... well, don't be. they're only for fun!
anyhow, the list of "100% valid" emoticons in my opinion:  (little, nice, harmless) (just cute ) (harmless, funny)  (quite basic) (you must admit it's just cool) (can express deep thanks, for example)  (cute)

well i think shadow has already summarised the fate of every smilie here.
so as he mentioned i think some of them are fun and cute ....... keep them. some are very rude and violent......... drop them. Chief, i think in ur poll u shud add a 3rd option : Keep some drop some. because there is a room for some........ those old smilies need some life by adding some more to the bunch. rest is upto the mods and admins.
