Well thats a news!!
beacuse i think in last 1 year, IE's market share has declined from almost 95% to 87% and FireFox got all that numbers in its kitty!!
Its still a long battle, i suppose

It's the release of IE7 beta that's caused the slight shift, IMO.

People were looking forward to see its 'improvements' so when it
was released to msdn subscribers and consequently leaked, there
was a big rush to install and play with it. No that people can see
it is no better than that POS IE6, I think the previous trend will
continue [FF's figures very slowly rising and IE's falling...]

who's running to get an old outdated browser? must be the beta version of Windows Vista that are responsible for this totally unnecessary use of IE.

true dat. I'll try IE7 but not use it as my primary browser. Would that increase market share though? You own a PC and never open IE you're probably contributing to some organization's count of market share.
