Forum Noobs - Please post results

Hey Guys, I just wanted to make a quick request of the forum noobs out there requesting help.

This forum has been around for a while and has a lot of good information. Unfortunately, a lot of noobs who may get their questions answered to not always come back to post the results.

Sometimes people will post to that thread as a follow up if they have the same question, but more often a new thread will get created if a suitable answer can not be found making searching very difficult.

As I've said before, I've found a lot of useful information on this forum, but I think there could be a lot more if everyone asking questions posted back whether the answers helped and/or they solved the problem.

Hmm, isn't it a trait of newbies start new threads about exactly the same subject as another thread started today. Makes me wonder where you got your idea.

I was going to say the same exact thing, but I bit my tongue this time

I appreciate your efforts to help the forum - both you and Salman
but I fear the newbies are not really paying attention to the Lounge.
We already have stickies in every forum plus central FAQ page and
that's the most we can do. the rest is up to the newbies themselves
and I fear it's not possible to change the way people behave.
guess we just have to learn how to cope with this.

Yep, just like we have to learn to cope with those who can't stand not having the last word ...
