Good UK Hosting Company
Hi Guys,

Where I work we currently run our own web servers but we are getting fed up of the hassle. I have ben asked (told) to look into identifying a good hosting company that provides:

Dedicated Servers Windows / IIS
Quality Email including full spam protection
SQL Server
Setup and Management

I'm looking for personal experience here, so if anyone has an opinion, don't be shy

I was going to post this in the Windows Web Hosting forum but it looked like mostly ads. (Sorry if I have maligned anyone)

I use 1&1, for both apache/php/mysql and for iis/.net/mssql,
no complaints at all! Brilliant hostong company IMO. Possibly
a bit more pricy than some of the others, but you get what
you pay for!

One and One, it is what we use for windows hosting, sometimes we have problems with the email server, but after a message they fix.
Uk2Net for Linux hosting, and we are now getting an account with fasthosts.

I recommend you One and One, till now they have been exellent.
Someone recommend us fasthosts, but i can't recommend to you, because we are going to start using it next month only. But have a look they have atm a nice offer on dedicated servers.


Please note One and One servers in reality then are in German, not UK.
Thats the good point i see in fasthost, because they are UK servers.

I use fasthosts personally and think they are great, but my boss has a real problem with fasthosts. I shall never mention their name again in his presence. Oooh the language

1and1 were the main one I was looking at and also web fusion, if anyone has tried them.
