Galaga was great for a space invader-ish game. Space invaders frustrates me because the houses block everything!
Commander Keen, whoa, that's awesome! Oldie but a goodie, ever played the Hugo games? And I'm sorry, I did mean X-COM... Xcon... sounds like a game based on the "Oz" tv show :P

Hmmm I guess they were only available in canada since I have never met someone outside of my region who has played them. There were 3 games in the series:
Hugo and the House of Horror Hugo something (visits his uncle or what not) Hugo in the Jungle It was a dos game where you walked around and had to type your actions. Kind of a primitive King's Quest. It was a tough game at the time since english was my second language and I could barely type anything. So trying to "attach vine to bridge" would often sound like "attack vigne on bridge"  Anyways, endless hours of fun.
