Happy and Kosher Passover!

To all the jewish people around here - happy and kosher Passover!
The Seder is tommorow, hope all of you got enough Gefilte Fish!!
I'm not religious, but proud to be jewish and having so vast history.

For all the non jewish members around here that has no clue what I'm talking about, click the links for some information. summary about Passover: it's holiday of the jewish people (the most ancient holiday I think, over 3000 years) celebrating the historical event when Bene Israel won their freedom after being slaves in Egypt (ancient Egypt) with the help of God of course. After getting free, Bene Israel wandered in the desert for 40 years until they arrived Israel and conqured it as God promised in the bible he gave them.
Passover is Pass Over - to convince pharaoh to let Bene Israel go free, God striked him and his his people with 10 blows - each more severe than the previous... the final blow of God was killing all first-born sons of all egyptian people. God ordered Bene Israel to install something called Mezuza in their door so that he will pass over those houses and won't kill the first-born sons in there.

i am sure you will have a wonderfull feast, and eat until your stomach wants to explode

actually, the main dish in Passover is Matzah... and the holiday last for one full week in which we must eat only this Matzah and are forbidden to eat bread or anything having flour actually. long story and I can't put it very right in english - if anyone is curious, google can satisfy all questions.


that won't happen, I can eat as much as I want - watch your braai - but indeed, there's much good food in Passover!!
