just read the article - you celebrate it in the name of brave/saint man who did
heroic deeds in the past. I believe the first version sounds reasonable - the bad
guy banned marriage for young people, and St. Valentine overruled him, paying
for this dearly.

yeah i did read it. i just meant that i don't think most people know why it is celebrated now!!
