Help!!!!!!!!

Help!!!!!!!!
hello


Bit of a silly question, but i need urgent help, my pc was hit by a spyware inwhich i have management to remove using a spyware remover, but i noticed that the b****d have left a php file and a html file in my temp file which i keep deleting and it reappears.

Also my default web page redirects to there page of the spyware! (www.needupdate.com) now i can not remove this page i have blocked it through internet security, i have tried microsofts own spyware tools to restore my default browser setting!

CAN anyone assist at all through either recommending some freeware software which i can run to remove this or suggest a procedure!

hi, sorry to hear about your problem.

AVG and spybot are excellent utilities to try and get rid of it but i suspect it will need more than that. Hopefully spybot will help determine what the problem you have is. Also download HiJackThis and post the log. Ideally you want to go to DevShed and post it over there, there are a few gurus with stuff like that over there and they will be sure to get you on the right track.

If you don't wanna register over there post the HJT log here and i can see if i can point you towards a procedure to get you going.

hehe, thanks Paul. Removing spyware and malware is what i seem to be doing a lot of right now!! Spent last night removing SpyAxe and something that was associated with it on a mates machine !! Takes ages but is quicker than a format

spybot has not pickup anything and it is spyaxe which is the problem. Is there any quick solutions?

ok, there are never really any quick solutions. Sorry!

If it is spyaxe you are having problems with then i am very surprised that spybot is not detecting anything.

To remove spyaxe you can use the following procedure (here) i used a similar one last night, follow it correctly and you should be cracking again soon!!

thank you for your help! the info you gave repaired and removed that bloody spyaxe i wish i could find a way of sending them an invoice for the hours spent fixing the problem
