Yeah, it's the CAM dept, based in Lion Gate. Had a couple of lectures
in Anglesea and Burnaby though!

Well I'm about 200 yards into the SO postcode area but its only about 20 minutes to Fratton Park and I go whenever I can get a ticket, which is getting less and less recently(just once last season in a pre-season friendly )

Well, I can still get a first! If I get 105% in my dissertation.

Seriously though, 2:2 is guaranteed, but with a reasonable mark
in my diss, a 2:1 is on the cards.

well i did a masters so i get pass merit or distinction. A pass (equiv of 2-2 and below) is a cert but i am hoping for a merit with a decent mark on my final year project, which is the equiv of 2-1 i hope

Aha, I'm actually thinking of doing a masters next year.

Are the fees a lot more than a BSc? And can you get support
from the LEA for it, or do you have to fund it all yourself?

It really is a small world.... I was born in Portsmouth although I haven't been back for many years and understand it has changed considerably. I know they pulled the Tricorn (officially one of the ugliest buildings in the country) down.

As for hobbies:
Learning new coding techniques and languages
Avoiding gardening
Sci Fi and Fantasy Books, Films and TV Shows
Martial Arts Films - I used to practice Judo but suffered a serious back injury
I used to play hockey (see Judo) and still watch it.
I'm not in to footy, but if there is a team I sort of watch every now and then, its Pompey

i dunno cus i just followed through and did it so i didn't get a BEng degree i just get my MEng. So my fees didn't change. As for the additional fees for a Msc i don't know. There are portsmouth uni engineering forums. If you want i can PM you the link and you could ak on there, someone might know and JohnGeddes is bound to be able to help or point you in the right direction.
