Hey DR,
At the top of each thread, there is a button, thread tools, there you can choose, subscribe this thread, and then you will receive a email everytime someone replies to that thread ![]() |

You can also subscribe to a thread as you are replying to it, or starting a new by scrolling down a little and selecting the option from a drop down menu. |

@Banker, but then you have to use the advanced editor?
I tend to use only the quick reply box, because its quicker ![]() |

This is true. I sometimes choose the advance editor to reply when I want a little bigger window to write in....to avoid scrolling when typing code especially. Also, if I want to quote the person I'm replying to.

There is a setting in Control Panel Options that allow you to automatically subscribe to threads you view, whether you want email notification or not, or not subscribe at all.
IIRC, by default you automatically subscribe to thread you post in, but the defaults are set be admins and it could be different in here. |
