you know ... i don't think he meant anything deragatory by his statement, i just think some people don't think.
one year the hubby and i went away. it was to one of those places that includes breakfast and dinner and they seat you with other couples for the meals. we were sitting at a table one morning for breakfast and began chatting by telling each other where you were from. one of the couples was from Long Island, NY ... another couple piped in with: "Are you nice? I heard people from New York are mean." ... sad part, she was serious.

Why blame any country??
Country is made of people and people have different nature and irrespective of their country they behave. So blame humans cody_e, no offense meant; but dont say anything about any other's country. I love my country, no matter what  And just to add, i have heard that there are some places in my country, where a person carries a gun while on a bicycle. He needs gun or somebody will take his cycle away. So no-one is perfect, not even me
