Very nice, very nice indeed. It looks like an Aladdin's Cave of useful articles and so much more. Will give it more exhaustive research in the morning. Did notice, however, that in the UK version the green tabbed links at the top dont function correctly in Firefox -- you click on one link and the information is displayed, you then click on another and the previous tab is still highlighted and the full document shifts to the left.

Funny you should say that Doug, I rarely see Novell used anymore. My old job used Novell as the main network OS, they took it away from all of the locations except the main office, installed 2000 Pro on all the machines and made the user interface all web based. Still had a Novell network, but all the apps we used became Windows based. Accessed all our apps and such throught a web portal using IE. I was pretty bummed about it though lol.

I guess we always knock the big boys like MS and forget/are not aware of the strides that MS takes on-board with development tools and software which can be accessed for free. I suppose most of us would not be in a job if it were not for the brow-beaten tactics of MS.

Sure their are other pretenders-to-the-throne and also there is the open-souce route but today's business environment is governed by standards - because we as consumers demand value for our money - thus, that is why commercial enterprises fly the flag of MS because their development tools are of the highest standard.

Until, that is, we recieve the dreaded 'Fatal Error' warning.
Then we know we just jumped in bed with the Devil.

lol I still think Novell is better. I'll probably get my CNE still. There are still plenty of schools that use Novell on their networks

Novell is OK, but -. My one-person business was one of their "authorized novell resellers" back in 1990 or so, then they decided they didn't want any "little guys" in their reseller channel. Novell unauthorized over 5000 of us. Without the magic Novell reseller authorization your company could not purchase novell wholesale from novell distributors.

Shortly after this de-authorizing event, I moved over to selling MS and other products. It's been a better deal all around, so I guess I should thank Novell for being stupid.
