Judo Tournament
Well, I just participated in my first Judo tournament of the year.

I had to travel 6 hours to get there.
I weighed in at 195 lbs and would have been in the up to 198 lb weight division.

I then discovered that I was the only person in that weight class, so the organizers decided to put me in the next highest weight division (up to 220lb).

So I had to compete against people that had a 10-30 lb weight advantage on me.

Anyway, when all was said and done (3 hours later) I ended up taking 2nd place in the division.

I have another tournament in 6 weeks (May 20th). I'm starting to prepare for.

Congrats Memnoch, great result getting 2nd when you have obviously been punching above your weight.

Bet that's given you the bit between the teeth to get in action for your next tourney.

Grats Mem, if your holding your own in the class above and you should be in the class below not thought of beefing up a bit and poping into the next class little more weight u might get 1st mate.

Anyway well done

Ugh...I don't think I could handle that much weight. I'm 6' 1" 195. I was 205, but lost 10 lbs training for the tournament. I'm wanting to get down to about 185 or so. I think 6' 1" 185 would be a nice size for me.
