Just got back from a road trip :D

The GF and I have decided to go camping for the night, it was short, only one night in, but it was nice
Here's a picture I took of a pet of a friend we visited. I just had to show it, because it turned out to be such a great picture.

But why do you have that cute turtle in a pan?

Just kidding, this isn't a pan, it's an actual aquarium in which the turtle thrashes and tries to get out all the time with absolutely no success.... unless he does succeed.

I don't think anyone would be jealous of this particular trip, because it got screwed on car problems.. We wouldn't have seen this turtle unless we had to sleep over at that friend's place instead of the camping place...

The unexpected is the best part of the trip!

Sometimes you're right, but waiting 5 hours in a gas station is... well not so good... though we did get to pet a few cows in the kibutz near that gas station

if you have your friends together you can have a wonderful time!

It is! Not exactly escape, they say they tried putting him in an outside pond and he didn't like it, he likes the aquarium... But when people are in the room, he becomes hyperactive and tries to jump out (sometimes successfully). Funny little guy. Too bad I can't put the high-res picture here, there's a limit on the size of attachments.

if it is worth it i can host it for you for a short while, just so people can see it.

Naah, that's ok, I'll put it on my site when I get home. For some reason I can't get access to the FTP from here (I'm at my grandmother's place and I'm hitching on the wireless internet from a nearby collage )
