Login information in URL
I once knew a method of entering a site that required a server-driven login/password with the credentials in the URL...but I can't remember for sure.
As I recall, it was something like... http://username assword@somesite.com/directoryDoes that seem right?

as far as I know, it apply only for FTP servers.

I use Ipswitch WS_FTP 2006, and it works great. But that has nothing to do with what I was talking about, lol. I have automated tasks that are run, but I'd like to protect the directories they're in and allow just one other server to run the files in that directory.
