I somehow dont believe the target audience of the name was he developer community. I think they picked Longhorn for the initial phase to develop interest in the developer community because its a name that most of us would be on board with.

I had a play on IE7 today. tis ok, nothing special imo graphics were a bit blocky, dunno if that was the machine or just cus it is beta but Firefox on the machine was fine.

Still have to wait till it is released before i can play on it properly.
