8800gt is a good card,.. . I have a 8800gt 512 which can run battlefield 2 on full acceleration 8x anti liasing,.. with a bit of help from 3gb ram. The card is also directx 10 but at the low end of the market. If you want to run new games like crysis you'll be best upgrading. What are you planning on using if for,.. the specs are ok,.. but a little over the top for just word association ![]() Last edited by AOG123 : May 14th, 2008 at 03:29 AM. |

Word association is not an exception in that list ![]() it is a bare system now i haven't even installed the Os just configured the Raid and kept it maybe i will do it on Saturday And for gaming i have studied Gaming forums for long they all pointed to 8800 gt as a performance/Budget card. i have problems finding hardware or they are too pricey here abt 100 - 150$ more than normal so i just stuck to the first option i got. If this was not the deal i would have gone for 9800 GTX 512MB. ![]() Last edited by Salman8506 : May 14th, 2008 at 04:00 AM. |
