After so long delay i finally assembled my Rig yesterday here are the specs.

Motherboard:Asus p5Nt-Ws 680i lt
Processor:Intel Core 2 Quad Q6600 2.40GHz
Ram Memory:Transcend (2x2gb) 800Mhz DDR2
Hdd:Wd 250gb x2 in Raid 0
Dvd Writer Moserbaer
Monitor:22" Lcd Viewsonic Widescreen
I/O Device:Microsoft Internet Set.
Graphic Card:Palit GeForce 8800 GT Video Card - 512MB DDR3, PCI Express 2.0
Case:Circle(Local Made But with good Cooling).


I thought i should share this with you all
What do you guys think of the Conf???

Thanx for the Comment Benji and that really is I mean was a Super Computer. I had problems Deciding for the Gpu though finally i settled for 8800gt.

8800gt is a good card,.. . I have a 8800gt 512 which can run battlefield 2 on full acceleration 8x anti liasing,.. with a bit of help from 3gb ram. The card is also directx 10 but at the low end of the market. If you want to run new games like crysis you'll be best upgrading.

What are you planning on using if for,.. the specs are ok,.. but a little over the top for just word association

I m looking forward to do everything from folding to playing games Like Crysis and Bioshock.
Word association is not an exception in that list
it is a bare system now i haven't even installed the Os just configured the Raid and kept it maybe i will do it on Saturday
And for gaming i have studied Gaming forums for long they all pointed to 8800 gt as a performance/Budget card. i have problems finding hardware or they are too pricey here abt 100 - 150$ more than normal so i just stuck to the first option i got. If this was not the deal i would have gone for 9800 GTX 512MB.

You'll have to let me know how you get on with running Crysis,.. and what settings you can use.

well, my current one is much better than what Benji gave but compared to Salman's
