I sure hope some one can help me out. My daughter was playing 3d pinball and pressed her hands down on the keyboard. The next thing I knew, my monitor was displaying everything sideways.
I tried to go into the display properties, but it did not help. I know she must have hit a keyboard shortcut, or a hot key, but I just can't find what she did. PLEASE HELP!! I am running Windows XP on a Gateway computer. Thanks. |

if you are using a nvidia graphics card you can set the
rotation of the screen in the settings somewhere, not to sure where though, not working on an nvidia atm, but look around in the display settings. hope this helps

My Dell Intel video has a rotation feature, found buried in the display properties / Advanced where there is an Intel tab, and another Advanced tab.

Need to go into the settings of the Video Card not the monitor - if I remember correctly I fixed mine by holding the control key down and using the arrow keys.
Good Luck!

My thanks to everyone that replied!
I finally got an answer from the Windows XP website... It was the Hot Keys... Ctrl-Alt-Arrow Nice of them to give me a list of the Hot Keys and their functions in the paperwork included with my computer...NOT Anyway, thanks all! ![]() |
