New Job
I'll be starting a new job within the next couple of weeks ... can't wait. This job more than doubles my current salary and provides for benefits as well as Paid Time Off ... YEAH!!!!!!!!!!

funny thing about that ... i currently work for a company that contracted me out to another company ... it's the company i've been working for (contract wise) for the last 16 months that decided to hire me.

so far for them, i've done their intranet (various applications), internet, set up their SQL Server and IIS, created several DTS Packages to automate transfer of monthly data from data center to here, as well as a lot of management information sql programming type stuff. so i was hired as an ASP/SQL Database Programmer. they have a lot of other projects in the works not to mention a conversion from their outside datacenter to the parent company's setup.

so it's pretty much the same work, but i'll actually be recognized for it salary wise. working for slave wages was losing it's appeal.
