Page 2 - New Orleans nightmare

here we have major earth quakes from time to time.... there is "hot alert" for one of those what would potentially bring down whole cities. not very fun to live in constant fear, so we just put it aside and ignore the alerts.

We don't need natural disasters. We've got arabs!

the islamic terror has made its damage and still making, but in this case in New Orleans we can't blame them. arabs? you know Jihad or two yourself, so not all of them are disasters!

Don't forget though that New Orleans is pretty corrupt at the local government level. I'm pretty involved with police agencies around the country and there has been a lot of things at the local government level that the news is not reporting. Do a google search for it and you'll see what I mean. My point is not to shift blame from other government agencies, who in my oppinion blew this completely, but to shed light on the fact that there are other things that could have helped out had they been dealt with in the past.

Yeah I saw that, i'm talking more of past stuff. There have been a couple city money scandals recently. Not that the lack thereof would have made a difference. I read that they were getting money for the corps of engineers from the federal government but the money, which should have been used for the levy's went to dredge a channel that was actually declining in use. I'll see if i can find the story online. I hope that those who are now paying the price will get the truth.

fair enough, there's a lot of info so i figured that would be the easiest way to put it out there. I'll come back with some concrete facts here.
