online organiser?

hey all,

My colleague and i work in seperate offices and it is really difficult to keep track with what each of us is doing etc. Is there an facility online where we can both have calendars and also permission to log in and view each others calendars? Something hosted would be fine, something i can install on one of my sites would be good too as long as it is has mysql as the db the i can host php/asp/aspx.

I'd like to write something but work is too busy atm!!!

Cheers all

RF

Hey man, some folks at my work use Plaxo (www.plaxo.com) it's mainly a contact organizer but will sync up calanders and such. I've never personally used it but everyone seems to like it. Not sure of the cost.

Another one that i've seen is http://www.intranets.com/ProductInfo/Intranet/Application/Online_Calendar.asp which is pretty expensive though ($60usd).

Good luck.

thanks for the info ragepro. I have heard bad things about plaxo....but i will look at it anyway and the other one. If it is a one off payment for something good the 60USD could be sorted.

We use intranets.com at work. It is either a monthly or yearly fee.
For two people who just want to share calendars, it might be
considered overkill.

yahooooo ah hoooo

Have you not considered making a free e-mail account with Yahoo and using that calandar. Just log in like you want to check your mail and click "calandar" It's not a great calandar, mind you, but you can try that out. Or if you both have yahoo accounts you can share calandars. Well, it's free and you get what you pay for. Try it and lemme know how it works

RadioactiveFrog agrees: cheers, yahoo might work!
