PHP vs ASP
Hey guys
![]() I'm currently learning PHP, but I've heard some of my friends sing the praises of ASP..... To be honost, I'm fairly ignorant about the advantages of ASP, all I've ever heard really is about PHP..... I was wondering, in your opinion, what's better, and why? I know that it's kinda hard to compare them since they're not the exact same, but what's your preference overall? Thanx ![]() Last edited by B-Con : May 25th, 2004 at 06:12 PM. |

In the long run asp is a more robust environment since it can use most registered com stuff on the server. You'll have a hard time opening, manipulating, creating an output file and closing an application like, say, ms project with php.
