well, from the point of view of eBay, the gold has been sold.
(who's this endowedlemon that "bought" it?) so, you've got plenty of money!! however, if you can prove to them that you never had any gold and you never sold anything, they should let it be... after all remember that extreme crazy stuff are being offered there, many times things that can't even be seen! ![]() worst case, remember the case of Mike Rowe VS. Microsoft! ![]() (as you probably know, it ended by Mike donating thousands of dollars he got from people all over the world, saving $1000 for himself) |

Yeah Im pretty sure I can prove that I never actaully had 16lbs ($250k's worth) of pure Gold Bullion... endowedlemon is my bro. Do you really think that if I can prove it, they will drop it? That would be awesome (p.s. Im not familiar with that other story - im not exactly Mr Current Affiars - could you run it by me quick?)
Im the one on the left. My bro is in the middle (im supporting him - good night, if you get what I mean) and I have no idea who the girl is (I think it was a friend of a friend)... Me and my bro Last edited by LozWare : February 20th, 2006 at 06:22 PM. |

yeah, I would like to believe they will drop it.
don't get yourself too worked up in the meantime, it won't do you any good... at least wait until you get another message from them, and in the meantime arrange the proofs. as for this Mike Rowe, it's quite simple: teenager named Mike Rowe decided to buy himself domain. he chose www.MikeRoweSoft.com and bought it. Microsoft didn't like it, and asked him to give them the domain. he refused, they sent him legal papers claiming this name is copy righted etc etc.... the story became famous all around the world, and people sent money to Mike so he can fight big Microsoft in court. however they didn't get into court, instead they settled on Microsoft giving Mike some gifts (xBox for one), Mike donating most of the money to charity and changing the domain. so, the "poor kid" got money, became world wide celebrity for couple of weeks, and his forums got awesome traffic - thousands upon thousands of members joined. I was also part of those forums in the beginning, for about 5-6 months until they were hacked twice and most of the posts lost forever. it was like our Lounge here, but x1000 more powerful and addicting. ![]() edit: nice picture, I thought your bro is younger! ![]() (and I hope you treated the girl nicely.. )Last edited by Shadow Wizard : February 20th, 2006 at 06:27 PM. |

Thanks.
My bro is older, he is 20, and I am 18. Like I said, neither of us have a clue who the girl is. We were coming back from a party, and I think she was a friend of a friend. Which reminds me… that’s another stupid thing me and my bro have done - he drunk a whole bottle of Vodka that night (and no, I’m not proud, but it makes some pretty funny photos! He passed about 5 times). |

Sorry back, but you as a thinking adult human being read and agreed to all sorts of contractual information when you became an EBay seller. Perhaps you thought all the different pages of detailed EBay information you read were not applicable to you? Why should they have to spend time and effort to accomodate your ill-conceived joke? Pay up, I say. That was the deal you made. When you make deals you should always follow through, otherwise what is your word worth? Even if EBay does forgive your debt, I suspect your days as an EBay seller are over for good.
