Re: zm9 format
Hi there Im sorry but I dont know where to post this question. I received an email with a logo to use on my site.
The name of the logo or format it was sent is was "CSIPwebelements.zm9". Has anyone ever heard of this? Is it a file that I can convert so jpg or what ever?

It's a ZoneAlarm archived file.
If you don't have ZA to unzip it then you will have to get it, or get another program that can unzip zm9 archives or get the people to send you the image in jpg or .zip format.

I'd ask whoever sent you the file to re-do it in zip or some other compression that you can deal with.

If you ever have this same problem, it was ZoneLabs renaming the file automaticaly for security reasons.
I am told that depending on the file type, the extension can end with almost any extension you dont hear about that often. I just found free download called ZipZag which converted the file back to its normal status. |
