I cant figure out what is the use of the reputation button

We have recently added REPUTATION to our forums. This allows members and mods alike to rate posts in terms of their helpfulness to the ASP Free forum community. We will be adding several new features as well which will enable us to give awards to our most valued users and mods on a monthly basis and reputation will play a role in that as well.

selwonk If I've posted some code above, you might think it looks a bit simplistic. It might be. I'd rather people tried the next step themselves rather than getting a full solution on a plate. That way they learn more! |

yep... to make it short:
1. if you think some post is very good, you click that button, Approve the post and add some positive text. 2. if you think some post is very bad, you click the button, Disapprove and add some negative comments. |
