Introduction:
You are living in the city of Kalimandeer, the main city of the mighty Tromendor kingdom. The city is in chaos and the King has called for heroes to come and help solve the mystery that engulf the kingdom for the last couple of months. Every night, people disappear. Sometimes only one, sometimes up to 10 at one single night. The City Guard is helpless, nothing out of the ordinary entered the city or left it, at least not using the gates and the city has thick walls all around it. Dozens of heroes already answered the call, went exploring and never came back. One of them has been seen in distant city, insane and not aware to what happened. How To Play: 1. Pick yourself a name. 2. Decide your character strength and weakness by dividing total of 100 stat points among Power, Agility and Magic.

information and get ready for beginning the adventure. You will also find guides in there, and help in case of trouble. 5. Start your adventure! After having enough information and equipment, you will be able to prove yourself as true hero. Magic and Spells: 1. Any character with 10 or more magic stat points can cast magic spells. 2. Anyone can try to cast spell directly from scroll. There is chance the spell will fail, and it gets higher as the spell is more powerful. Anyway the spell disappear from the scroll afterwards. 3. There is the ability to scribe spell from scroll to your own spell book. To do that, your Game Level (or just Level in short) has to be the same or more than the level of the spell. Right now, all characters begin in Level 1. Sleep and Magic Missle are 1st level spells, and Fireball is 3rd level spell. Of course, you also have to purchase the Spell Casting Kit in order to scribe spells. Scribing spell takes one hour for each level of the spell. It must be done in complete silence and focus. 4. Once you have spell scribed in your spell book, you can Memorize it after 6 hours of complete rest. At Level 1, you can have only one spell Memorized at any time. At Level 2, you can have two spells memorized etc... to change memorized spells you must have at least 6 hours of complete rest. 5. When you have spell memorized or on scroll and you wish to cast it just say so and the DM will decide if the spell was cast successfully or not. Remember, armor type affect it as well. 6. Currently, characters can't be clerics. That means, no healing spells of any sort. List of available spells will be created with time. About The Game: As you can guess by now, this is text based, old style, RPG game. It's all my original invention so there are no strict rules just yet. I preferred to make it more simple to play by only few options to choose from, with time if the game will catch I can add more stuff to make it more flexible. In case of dying I still haven't decided what is going to happen, so you better not die!! Oh, just in case you're not aware of RPG: it stands for Role Playing Game, where you take the role of imaginary character and you decide his/her actions, which with time give you experience, money and power. I join the game, it can be great way to pass the time... not just another
ordinary forum game, it combine thinking and action. ![]() Of course, I act as the DM (Dungeon Master) but can also have character for guidance and kicking things to action. ---------- Character name: Shadow (yep you can use your own nick) Attributes: 25 Power, 25 Agility, 50 Magic. Equipment: Spell Casting Kit, Superior Steel Sword, Short Bow, Small Shield, 50 Arrows, 3 Potions of Healing, Scroll of Magic Missle. Shadow join the pub and start chatting with the natives, hearing the gossip and looking for information. As potential hero, the drinks are on the house. interesting gossip he overhear: "You know, there are no screams. I would expect someone who get kidnapped or killed to make some noise, but we never heard anything. wonder why is that?" |

Attributes: 60 Power, 20 Agility, 20 Magic. Equipment: Superior Steel Sword, Heavy Shield, Leather Armor Set, 3 x Health Potions noFriends walks into the pub, everyone gasps, they know that although he has the characteristics of a hero, he is a total n00b when it comes to this ![]() They can see that he has no clue of where to start... ![]()

Character Name: Shem
Attributes: 50 Power, 20 Agility, 30 Magic Equipment: Superior Steel Sword, Leather Armor Set, Small Shield, Spell Casting Kit, 3 Potions of Healing Shem pulls in to the pub, takes note of the characters sitting around, picks his spot, and sits and orders a pint while listening to some of the stories going on and trying to gain as much info as he can so he can draw up his own conclusion on the events taking place.

Attributes: 60 Power, 30 Agility, 10 Magic Equipment: Superior Steel Sword, Chain Mail Set A dark figure clanks, darkly, into a dark corner, sits down and stares from under his dark cowel with dark eyes into the dark room. When offered a drink by a maid he merley shakes his head once with a small grunt. Conversation not too far away catches his attention, not that he shows it. ![]() |

OK heroes, I'm glad you joined! will make character sheets for everyone
ASAP, still not sure where I'll save it. either here or in external web page that I would link to. anyway, each character deserve separate reply: ------------------- @noFriends - being strong warrior, all the women in the pub turn their look towards you... and all men look in envy at your weaponry. when you sit down the bar tender whispers: "hi stranger, I am Joe nice to meet you. I think you will find that man interesting", and he points toward old man with long white beard, who sit in one of the tables. ------------------- @Shem - couple of men take a sit beside you, as all other tables are full. they talk in silent voice, but you manage to hear parts of the conversation: Person A: "Did you see that ..... ? I think he's loaded! let's ...... what you say?" Person B: "Yeah! {small evil grin} but ..... " he notice you, and they both lower their voice to whisper. as you were focused on them you didn't hear any other conversations, and you notice that both men are armed and have lots of scars. ------------------- @Dark Caller - your shiny armor draw some gasps from the audience... they're not used to professional warriors. everyone leave you alone though, and you see beautiful woman talking with young boy. it's far from you, but you can read their leaps: Woman: ".....please? do it for me. I can't afford ..... {turn her face for couple of seconds} ... I promise that he will come. how much you have?" Boy: "only 200 pla... [shortcut for PP] but my brother can get much more. let's go now before someone see us." they walk toward the door, the woman holding his hand. ------------------- @shadow - sitting in the center of the big room, shadow observe it all and listen carefully. he takes 1 copper piece out and start playing with it. his look stay longer on Shem and Dark Caller, as he understands they're not just ordinary folks. when he see the two men sitting near Shem preparing to get up he tense and put his hand on the sword. ------------------- |

shem, slowly gets a good grip on his sword, realising wots about to come, though not to worry as these idiots are just common thugs relying on numbers to get wot they want.
at the same time he notices a man with a long whitebeard at one of the tables, the man is looking towards the fellas sitting besides shem, this man too has a firm grip on his sword. |
