Hi there,

How do you make screen shots of applications running on the screen and save them as a picture file?

Also, how is it possible to record the same thing as a movie file?

Thanks.

PS: I know it's a little off topic, but I wasn't sure where to post it...

You need a program to take screen shots then allow you to joining them and annotating them to produce a movie.
It's usually defined as presentation software

if you're using Windows OS you can just press ALT+PrintScreen buttons
(PrintScreen is usually located near the Scroll Lock on top of the keyboard)
and then the screen shot is being saved in the clipboard. open image
processing file (for example Windows Paint) and choose Edit --> Paste.
the picture should appear and you can Save it.

don't think you need to press ALT, i think you can jus press printscreen! At least that works for me.

just incase he was trying it with alt and it didn't work..
maybe it works both ways
