It is great. Maybe we will have a new version module written for Ikobo soon. I am very glad that Ikobo are constantly improving their services.

I guess you're right. I'm sure there will be more and more modules like this one appearing because people are starting to understand the benefits of ikobo. The only thing I'd like to see is this happening a little faster, because in business, as we all know time is money.

Thumbs up

Another one already? Boy this guys are moving fast. I suppose there's a big demand for such modules by ikobo users. I suppose I was wrong, it's happening quite fast and it's a good thing you know. Soon I think, we'll see a lot of e-stores providing ikobo as a payment option. I'm glad I am one of the first people who have realized ikobo is good alternative to some of the other services out there. Keep up the good work guys.

I am developing a online store with ikobo payment option. Maybe you will do some shopping. It's about electrical products and they are cheap too. I will announce the URL address as soon as I completely finish it.

Well guys, good luck to both of you and your on-line stores, I'm sure your experience with ikobo will be a good one. Now I have a little question not necessarily related to merchant accounts, but to ikobo's person to person money transfer part. So far I've only used the account (and card) to receive money but now I need to send some money to a friend of mine. I wanted to know from someone who's already done this how this works and if he/she was successful in sending the money? Thanks!

sending money using ikobo.com

Well of course you can send money
  1. Add a credit or debit card to your account.
  2. Verify the credit or debit card.
  3. Add a recipient to your account.
  4. Send the recipient money.

Log on to www.ikobo.com. Click on the “Send Money” tab. You will be prompted to enter your recipient’s name, address, and how much you would like to send. If the recipient is an existing iKobo customer all you will need is the recipient’s iKobo account number.

OK, thanks. I see, guess I should have looked harder on the website since there are instructions there. My bad, guess it was easier to post here.

Anyway, thanks again for the time you took to answer me, I'll make a test transaction with small amount to see whether it works and also have the card delivered to my friend, then I'll transfer the money (provided the first step goes smoothly). I'll keep you posted.

P.S. Have you actually done this? Did it work?

I have used Ikobo to send money. You just login Ikobo. Click "sending money" tab. You fill the amount of money you want to transfer and the Ikobo account of the recipient(if he is not an ikobo user, you can fill his address into a textbox) into textboxs. If all the information that ikobo required has been finished, you click the "submit" botton. Then all things are done. The recipient can withdraw money immediately at any visa atm machines.

Yes, I have done it and it REALLY works. Come on man , what's wrong with you ? Make a test transaction as you said you'll do. Use a small amount and you will see the result. I tell you IT WORKS. Don't worry.

I use a free shopping cart from Inverted Software

http://www.invertedprojects.com/EmbeddedX/Universal-Free-Shopping-Cart/

It seems to work fine for me.

Ok, ok. I did it already, both the test transaction and the real one. They both worked like a charm and the recipient always got the money. He now has a shiny new ikard and is able to accept payments form anyone. Good for him, good for ikobo.
BTW, is what I've heard about ikobo being able to process MasterCard properly true?

Well, they were already processing MCs but they had problems with some cards. And yes, it's true, they don't have any problems with MC.
