Spam content checker

Hi

I experience the usual problems with my "receipts" bouncing for one reason or another. For example, I sell travel insurance policies online. On completion the system sends an email to the punter with two HTML certificates attached (for medical rescue etc.). The travel department manager is hassling me because loads of these messages are not received by the users

I'm pretty confident that this is simply due to over-zealous spam filtering but I need to prove this to him. Before I strip the attachments off and try embedding links to them in the email text, I was wondering if anybody had tried any spam content checking software? I've looked at a few on Google but could not find anything that did the job for me

Thanks in advance

MK

Spam Content Checker

Hi MK,

I use Dori Friend's Spam Content Checker called E-filtrate. You can paste and test your html code as well against a couple of versions of SpamAssassin and a Generic Trigger Checker. You will probably be surprised at what you find.

She also has a Blacklist checker so you can make sure that that is not part of the problem as well. Check it out, I love it!

Deb

If I've posted some code above, you might think it looks a bit simplistic. It might be. I'd rather people tried the next step themselves rather than getting a full solution on a plate. That way they learn more!
