I just want to say a global thank you in two regards:

1: Thank you to all that help out on this forum. When I was learning ASP a long time ago, all I had was Usenet and a few IRC channels. ASPfree is a fine example of what the internet can be to a devedloper. But then again, it takes two to tango and its the contributors on here that make st*ff happen. You are the best! Please come to the devshed ASP forum once in a while -- your contributions would be greatly appreciated!

2: Thank you to all in the lounge that have accepted the Devshedites and our Lounge ways. Hopefully you can understand our zeal for these forums and share in its embrace?

Kudos to all ASPfree helpers.

I fear I'll drown at DevShed. give me little forum with good people and I'm happy camper.

I kind of like playing in the deep end instead of the kiddie pool you guys got here. Us devshedders are increasing lounge activity a ton here.

You can say that again. I guess I have 2 lounges to troll. Wait until B-Con gets here

:slap on wrists: Now markis, let's not get high on our laurels! The ASPfree folk are kind and untainted by the laws of troll - we are to honor and respect that. If not becuase they have so graciously allowed us passage! Again - this thread is called "Thank You." And so, with resounding zeal, I thank the ASPfree forum - we promise to tend it as if it were our own.

Our thought our mission was to acculturate

Actually our arrival was prompted by the departure of Memnoch. As we at Devshed watched from the Mount Olympus of Forums (queue clash of the titans music) we were a bit puzzled by how he was put off the forum completely by seeminly a single user who he felt was a little off. Memnoch from what I could tell did indeed seem to be a right good chap, and well liked by the rest of the forum. Thus the lords of devshed sent down the mighty Gos to smite his enemies and collect rep.

Perhaps... perhaps not. For one thing, I'd like to see some activity in here. Cmon people it can be fun to talk with other nerds about ASP and stuff!

Back, back, you hordes of DevShedites. How could it have come to this, so soon. We thought by keeping our heads down and just dipping our toes in we could enjoy the water without fear of predation. But now the sharks are circling and I fear they smell blood

It's good to have you guys on board - even if you have just crashed the party, occupied the comfy seats, eaten all the peanuts and thrown the shells on the floor. Just be kind and clean up any mess you leave
