Davey - no count is needed... the post count is visible for every member, below his/her Join Date and Location. for example you have 717 posts right now and I didn't count!
however, back in the asp101 forums I didn't have such luxuries, I've written my own script for counting the posts. primitive, but it worked.
as for Natasha, it's obviously girl name... can't see any reason for boy to use girl name - but without seeing the person you can't know. as far as all of you know, I myself might be girl!!
