It's not even running at full tilt. I've got a 64 bit chip, but only the 32 bit OS... I just can't get enough of the alt-tab [it's actually win-tab now ]![]() ![]()

day just started here, had my first coffee with swiss dark chocolate, now
starting to work - the beginning of big .NET project involving windows application and web application both using the same database. ![]() you got me curious with the Vista, I hope my GeForce 5200 is enough for that Aero thing.... yep - saw now that I have the minimal requirements. ![]() |

If you're not sure about your hardware, there is an app published
by Microsoft that you can run and it will analyse your system for you, telling you what needs upgrading [if anything] in order that you can run Vista - make sure you tick the 'Aero' box on the settings page... ![]() http://www.microsoft.com/windowsvis...or/default.mspx --Jon. |

I ran that earlier, that's why I know my graph card aint good enough also another reason I aint installed yet is that my adsl driver is incompatible with Vista - It says that I need to contact the manufacturer to get the upgrade! Was wondering if I install it and my internet connection suffers because of it - is it just as easy to uninstall - without it leaving anything behind? |

You could always just dual boot it with XP. Then, just wipe the partition if you don't want it anymore. ![]() |

Update - I downloaded http://sourceforge.net/project/showfiles.php?group_id=115843&package_id=173828 and managed to partition my C: drive to a new ext2 name with 10 Gbs of resource. Currently, burning my iso image of vista onto a dvd to see if it runs ok. This is hair-raising stuff... |
