US Open 2007
Hi everyone,
this might seem as a strange request, but I am looking for someone, or a link to buy tickets for the US Open (Golf) held at the Oakmont Country Club in Pittsburg next year. I can't seem to find a realiable place to buy tickets, and find out about accomodation and the likes. Any suggestions will be appreciated. Thanx alot. Cheers noFriends

wow ... NF, seems those ticket packages are quite expensive ... didn't realize that. also didn't realize it's a lottery to get those tickets.
the only places i see to get a package to the open are those scalper type ticket places. and the cheapest i saw for hotel and entrance was like 4500 USD http://www.openseats.com/tickets.as...vent&sdc=295202 http://www.ticketsnow.com/tickets.c...ogle.google.com http://aboutseats.com/ResultsTicket...t_camp=15978001 although it does seem that they're all selling the same packages. on a side note, if you do make it to this, keep me informed ...

, that is alot of money. I bet it would be worth it!  Maybe a good idea to go when the dollar is weak, as it is at the moment - against the pound atleast.

shame i don't live closer to pittsburgh, i could save you hotel costs ... but i think 6 hours is a bit much.

Greetings,
I have just received notification that I have 2, full week grounds passes for the Open at Oakmont. I have also been investigating accomodations @oakmount, and am zooming in on a selection. I MAY be willing to give up a day or two, and even share the accomodations. All of my plans are in flux, but if you may want to be included, please be in touch.
