Exclamation User Password Problem...

Hello everyone,
Thank you for your help.
So I went into BIOS because my brother figured out the password to it and I dont want him messing around there, and I went into it and changed the password along with the User Password.
Now.. The computer restarted and the "Enter CURRENT Password" screen came up, but when I enter the password it dosent accept it.. It gives me 3 trys and stops, then I have to restart it to get another 3 trys. Is there anything that I can do to get past it? I cant get into BIOS eather.. I have to log on first Please help? Im very very
Thank you for all your help.
Maciek

You can give this a try. I haven't tried it myself, but maybe it will work for you. http://www.softpedia.com/get/Securi...g/CmosPwd.shtml

I'm not sure this holds true anymore, but years ago there was a switch on the motherboard that would clear the password. Your best option is to contact the motherboard manufacturer as they would know the best method.

Hmm.. Well.. I did try unplugging the motherboard and then unplugging the battery out of motherboard.. leaving it like that for like 2 min and plugging it back in, after i did that, i hooked everything back to it, and turned it on.. then a ERROR sreen poped up asking if i want to continue with windows or go to BIOS..
I went to BIOS and deleted the USER PASSWORD...
it works...

but thank you for all your help. thanx

Are you crazy or something? Removing the RAM won't affect the BIOS. In fact, you can power on and edit the BIOS without any RAM at all. And then to top it off, your offering your Yahoo sn after the solution was already found.

Maybe I'm overreacting, but with the flurry of YIM viruses right now it just seems a bit strange to me coming from a first time poster.

Correct me if I'm wrong...but isn't the BIOS powered by the CMOS battery? I see no relation between RAM and BIOS. Sounds like BS to me.
