VS.NET will not install

Discuss VS.NET will not install in the ASP Free Lounge forum on ASP Free.

VS.NET will not install
I have a 2003 Small Buisness Server (test box) that I am tring to install VS.NET on. The OS installation is all defaults and the server is acting as a webserver and a Domain Controller.

My problem is that VS.NET fails to install. If run strait from the CD, it will fail to install the prerequisites. I have been using the command line to ignore the prereqs "setup /NO_BSLN_CHECK" and the install will start but then fails with these errors

[08/31/04,10:41:18] setup.exe: [2] ISetupComponent::Pre/Post/Install() failed in ISetupManager::InstallManagerHelper()[08/31/04,10:41:19] setup.exe: [2] Component error string not specified in ISetupManager::AddToActionResultCollection()Does anyone have any ideas on how i can get this installed?
