win XPPro/FF 1.0.4/IE6/IE5/NN7 - legacy support revisions will see IE5 and NN7 dropped soon, it's just too much hassle hacking css to suit old crap

Man I remember the days when I had the time to play those games. I must have beaten FF3 a thousand times. Had to wire up an external watch battery to keep the game running after awhile

FF8 is the best, better than the later FF-IX and FF-X in my opinion. and better yet, it had official PC version!

nope it's not open source... it has PS version (original) and PC version which came later. I believe you can still buy (or find) the PC version, this game is the best I've played in my life. perfect combination of story, fight system and user interface.
