I just wanted to get some opinions on where to start. I was just promoted internally to a reporting analyst. There are currently 3 others in that position now. We work with ASP.NET, VB.NET, Microsoft SQL Server 2000, MS Access and Cold Fusion. My Access skills are at the intermediate level, no where near the other 3, but that's about it. I still have a lot of learning to do. I'll have on the job training, but I want to get ahead on my own. Which one of these would be the best to start with? Do I need to learn one before the other? Thanks in advance.

Sounds to me like you should focus more on learning databases rather than coding.

That's very interesting that you say that. How did you come to that conclusion from my post? I'm not asking to be asmart ***, I take value in your opinion as a moderator. If you feel that I would need to focus on learning databases first, then move on to the other applications I would seriously consider that.
