why asp.net
Hi People
I currently develop in ASP but im looking to move to asp.net. The company i work are offering to pay for my training but they want to know why asp.net? what benefits does it bring? etc Beside being the next thing up from asp, can you tell me some good reasons that i can use? I have looked through the forum but cant seem to find anything Look forward to your replys

well, ASP.NET is the future... classic ASP became old and soon Microsoft will stop supporting it, same way as they're no longer supporting Windows 95 and Windows 98.
future Servers will probably support only ASP.NET... is that enough reason?
