Why is it that when newbies post questions/problems it's so often "HELP NEEDED - URGENT"?

Why do most people join a development forum? Usually I would think would be to get a question answered.

Now, why do they think putting those keywords into a thread will help them get them an answer any faster is beyond me.

typical...for me the reason to become a memeber was because i needed an answer on a question, but on a certain moment i got inspired by also answering peoples questions...i don't know which thought that was but i don't regret being a full memeber now.

I completely agree. When I need help with something, I can usually find it here...and I enjoy helping others...when I can...too!
